I'm normally more punctual here. Last Monday, my latest short story went up at one of my favorite literary journals: matchbook literary magazine.
My story, titled "Empire State Building," is a piece of flash fiction about family tall tales, infrastructures, and a weird, mysterious possibility. It went through many drafts, and thanks to some terrific editing and assistance on the part of R.B. Pillay, it made its way into this new, final form.
You can read my piece here. Thank you to R.B. and Brian Mihok for their care and time with my work, and for allowing me to have space next to some of my favorite writers.
